- Experience is preferred Job Summary: Under the direction of the RN, the CNA performs patient care activities. Documents data obtained and reports all deviation from normal findings to the nurse promptly. The Technical Colleague performs patient care activities including basic rehabilitation, respiratory therapy and EKGs. Documents data obtained and reports all deviation from normal findings to the nurse promptly and reinforces patient/family teaching which has been provided by the RN. Job Requirements: CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant program with WI state registry. Must be at least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Previous experience preferred. CPR certification within 6 months of hire. TECHNICAL COLLEAGUE - High school graduate or GED. Current certification on the Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required. Completion of Technical Colleague training within 6 months of hire. CPR certification within 90 days of hire required. Previous work experience as a CNA in an acute or long-term care facility preferred. Basic computer literacy.
