A results-oriented sales professional to promote Carilion Labs outreach within a specifically defined vertical prospect segment. The ideal candidate will have a college degree and a minimum of  7 to 10 years of demonstrated sales success in major account sales. The preferred candidate will possess health care experience, an intimate knowledge of the opportunity and market, excellent communication skills and computer proficiency in a Windows environment. 

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Education: Bachelors degree and prior health care IT related sales and marketing experience is highly desirable.

Experience: The ideal candidate will have a strong background (minimum of 7 years experience) in healthcare information technology sales or reference laboratory sales; knowledge of clinical care delivery; knowledge of healthcare business practices, guidelines and policies; and knowledge of strategic selling concepts.

Licensure, certification , and/or registration: Valid Driver's License.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Must possess an aggressive, can-do attitude, excellent presentation and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to work in a demanding environment under tight deadlines.
