****THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN CHARLOTTE, NC****

Supervises the daily operations of Carilion Labs Patient Service Centers and Outlying activities in the market area.   Provides input into goal and policy development, budget planning, and future growth opportunities as appropriate.   Ensures delivery of top quality and cost-effective laboratory services, while maintaining adherence to the CHS policies and procedures.   Supports the missions, goals, and objectives of Carilion Health System and Carilion Labs.  This role is a primary liaison for clients and staff in the area and all departments at the Core Lab.  Responsible for all Phlebotomy,  Same Day Testing Lab Operations in the Charlotte Markets. Must have clean driving record.  

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Education - Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience - Previous Supervisory experience required. Physician Office experience preferred.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration - CLS, or M.T. Certification required.  Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required.

Other Minimum Qualifications - Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.    Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for the position.   Knowledge of laboratory information systems is preferred.   Knowledge of office computer software is required.   Must possess flexibility to adapt to a changing healthcare environment.   Must have proven ability to manage people, successful achieve desired outcomes and work with minimal supervision, while applying sound business judgement.
