Job Details:

Flex time opportunity available for a Physician Assistant to join one of the largest and busiest emergency medicine departments in Virginia. Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, an 825 bed teaching/tertiary care referral center, has an average of combined visits with urgent care to over 100,000 visits annually.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • Current Virginia state license or the ability to obtain.
  • Basic Life Support certification required. Advanced life Support certification preferred.
  • Eligible for prescriptive authority.
  • Must be able to meet credentialing requirements.
  • Qualifies for malpractice insurance and is accepted by Carilion Clinic's malpractice insurance carrier.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
