Overview:

Will plan and execute clinical and/or skills laboratory experiences appropriate to course objectives and didactic course components. Will supervise and evaluate students during assigned clinical rotations and/or skills laboratory experiences. Assists in evaluation and revision of clinical and/or skills laboratory course components.

Minimum Qualifications Required: 

Education:

Master's degree in nursing. Will consider applicants with a Bachelor's degree in nursing who are enrolled in a MSN program and have 18 graduate credit hours in nursing.

Experience: 

Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required.  Teaching experience preferred. 

Licensure/Registry/Certification:

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Virginia. 

Other:

Must have ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Basic understanding of educational principles and methodologies. Leadership and organizational abilities essential. Job requires all physical requirements to perform essential functions of clinical and/or laboratory instruction.
