Summary Serves as a computer resource for customers with issues related to the Medical Practice Management (MPM) application. This position works closely with end-users to respond and resolve customer requests in a timely manner and to document all necessary information pertaining to the request. Responsibilities include the ability to provide direct customer support on an on-going basis. This position will provide numerous support functions including, but not limited to, granting access to routines within the MPM, daily maintenance of system and dictionaries, testing of new updates, and training of end users on a monthly and as needed basis. Qualifications - Education/Training: Clinic knowledge of nursing and/or Meditech experience preferred.
- Experience: 2 years experience in a clinic environment. Experience in managing multiple priorities successfully. Experience in using an electronic health record application, Microsoft Office, Email and the Internet.
- Equipment and Skills Training: The ability to communicate well, both verbally and written, is essential. Must possess organizational and team building skills, good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to associates and health care providers. This position requires that one handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize an solve problems and handle stress. The ability to positively motivate department personnel to desired actions in meeting project goals and time frames is necessary. Must be knowledgeable in personal computers, printers, copiers, fax machines, and various software programs.
