GENERAL SUMMARY

We are seeking a statistician to participate in an ongoing study of adolescent antidepressant use and various clinical outcomes. The applicant will be responsible for the analysis of clinical trial data and administrative data sets under the direction of the Principal Investigator and the Project Leader.  In addition, the applicant will participate in writing manuscripts for publication, and documentation for the IRB and federal agencies.  This is a temporary, one-year position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1.       Master’s degree in Statistics or Biostatistics with 1 - 2 years of research experience in a healthcare-related setting.

2.       Must be comfortable analyzing all types of data.

3.       Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

4.       At least a basic understanding of Bayesian statistics.

5.       Working knowledge and experience with Bayesian statistics desirable.

6.       Must be able to help in the preparation of scientific publications.
