Job Details:	GENERAL SUMMARY: The Vice President for Facilities, Strategy & Operations reports to the President of The Research Institute and is responsible for day-to-day scientific operations at Children’s Research Institute. This position ensures that research facilities and scientific operations efficiently support the faculty scientists and their scientific pursuits. The position has overall responsibility for technology commercialization, facility planning, all core laboratory services, laboratory animal facility, and research education. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: § At least 15 years of experience, with five in an executive level position within a research institution, academic unit, biotech company or hospital. § Masters degree in finance, business, life science &/or health services (PhD preferred). § Solid working knowledge of budgeting, laboratory operations and management. § Demonstrated knowledge of bioscience and related equipment. § Demonstrated knowledge of research compliance and regulations. § Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
