- Job Summary: Under the direction of the Supervisor or RPSGT, sets up routine sleep studies, titrates CPAP and BIPAP. Monitors routine and complex sleep studies. Scores routine sleep studies and performs basic patient care. Assists the Supervisor or RPSGT in clerical duties and educational programs. Educational and Experience Requirements: Registry Eligible by the American Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists. Health Care providers with patient care contact must renew CPR Certification every two years. Licensed Health Care providers must meet the continuing education requirements for HIV/AIDS and domestic violence as mandated by their respective professional boards. The Department of Education will offer programming to meet these requirements, but compliance is the responsibility of the employee. Three (3) or more years of clinical experience desirable.
