Job Duties: Reduces adjusted denial rate through recovery and prevention for the Medical Center by reviewing payors' decisions to deny reimbursement to the Medical Center and identifying denials appropriate for appeal.  Performs analysis of denials to determine and address trends. Educates staff on denials prevention. Coordinates appeals for Medicare RAC audits.

Experience: 5 years Utilization Management experience.

Physical Requirements: Computer work, prolonged sitting.
