- Handle all financial recordkeeping for the Jupiter Medical Center Auxiliary, including the Thrift Shop and Gift Shop. Reconcile daily sales to register tapes. Deposit funds. Make all journal entries and maintain accounts on a cash basis. Pay invoices. Remit sales tax. Account for receipts/disbursements of all special events. Record and track donations. Prepare monthly financial statements, reconcile bank statements and assist in budget preparation.
Associate degree required. Minimum three years in bookkeeping experience; 5 years is preferred as is certification. Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel. Knowledgeable of Word and Outlook. Ability to multi-task. Ability to meet strict deadlines. Clear understanding of accounting procedures and internal controls.
Part-time position, 8:00am- 4:30pm
