The essential responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse Educator include delivery of patient care as identified by the Scope of Care of the Patient Care Unit, provide clinical consultation and practice to clinical managers, charge nurses, and their staff on the specific unit issues and education.
Defines and maintains the standards of nursing practice within the unit according to CCRN standards of Practice. The Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for assuring and evaluating patient centered quality care at Jupiter Medical Center. This position is responsible for supervising, assisting, assigning checking, instructing, and evaluating all nursing and clerical personnel in the clinical setting. Performs and develops comprehensive orientation program, assesses competency, and evaluation of clinical performance, and subjects specific to the unit. This position requires expert skills in nursing practice, communication, understanding, and the ability to incorporate teaching and personnel management principles. Qualifications: Applicant must possess a Bachelor's of Nursing and be currently enrolled in a Masters degree program with an active Florida RN license.
