- High school diploma or equivalent is required
VCU Health System's Neurophysiology Labs is seeking End Tech II. This person performs routine electroneurodiagnostic procedures using established protocols and procedures in a clinical lab, inpatient and epilepsy unit setting including EEG, AEEG, and EMU. Specialty procedures performed are Polysomnogram, Wada Testing, EP, NCV testing, as well as intraoperative monitoring of EEG, EP, EMG and NCV procedures. Serves as the technical resource for the END Tech I.
Takes initiative to acquire and maintain knowledge base.
Participates in conferences and technical training.
Weekends and holiday coverage for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and STAT EEG procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent
American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoke Potential Technologist (ABRET) registry in at least one (1) AMA approved electroneurodiagnostic field
Current CPR certification
Minimum of one (1) year of basic medical, patient care related experience
Experience and proficiency in two (2) electroneurodiagnostic modalities (e.g. EEG, AEEG, EMU, Polysomnogram, etc.)
Graduate of Electroneurodiagnostic Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program
Two or more years of work experience in electroneurodiagnostic lab setting
