Registration requires a valid e-mail address so that we will be able to communicate with you. You will also be able to access your e-mail from any computer that has internet access.

Application Process / How To Apply

When you apply for a job at Transylvania Regional Hospital, your application is reviewed in Human Resources. Once we have determined all information is completed qualified candidates will be forwarded to the appropriate department manager/director for consideration in filling an open position. The length of this process is undetermined. The manager/director will decide when to implement the interview process. If you are chosen for an interview, you will be contacted by the department manager/director.

We ask for your patience as this process is underway. It is not necessary for you to call or to apply again. We encourage you to monitor the processing of your application online as the volumes of eligible candidates prevent us from personally providing you with daily updates. You will receive written notification when a position is filled.

We do recommend that  you begin preparing the required paperwork should you be selected as a potential candidate for hire.Then as an opportunity to interview is presented, the processing can move forward in a timely manner. All TRH employees are required to comply with credential verification, employee health clearance, routing information for direct deposit of their paychecks, provide two I-9 acceptable identification documents and satisfactorily complete a criminal background check and drug screen. There are no exceptions to these requirements.

Applications for positions remain in our active applicant files for 1 year. If you are applying for more than one position, please follow the directions carefully so that delivery of your application is successful.

Important:  If you do not have access to a computer at home, all libraries in the area offer internet service. You can visit the Employment Security Commission and they will be glad to assist you with the online application process. Electronic Employment Applications can also be completed in the Human Resources department on a limited basis, please contact HR for availability at 828-883-5200. Applicants who are not familiar with using a computer to complete an Electronic Employment Application are asked to contact Human Resources for further instructions.
