Associates Degree CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Works closely with members of the medical staff to create and maintain order sets that contain evidence based best practice and are formatted consistently and in accordance with organizational standards 2. Uses the software tool to develop evidence based content for physician order sets 3. Works with members of the Build Team to coordinate the creation and review or order sets 4. Tracks the flow of order sets through the process 5. Assists in developing an implementing reporting tools to determine the effectiveness of order sets in improving both clinical outcomes and cost effectiveness SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES · An accomplished communicator, verbally and in writing · Is able to work with teams · Organizational skills or project management training · Necessary computer skills include: Word and Excel MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS · Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field · Two years experience in health care with clinical experience in a hospital setting. · Experience with electronic charting or Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) would be a plus
