Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum Current BLS or CPR certification is required Current WY RN License is required ROLE SUMMARY Works under the supervision of the Physicians and Practice Administrator and is responsible for supervising all CFM clinical staff, patient care management and work flow scheduling. Supports development of clinical processes and initiatives. Works with other CPG clinical staff supervisors to cover clinical staff needs of the organization. Performs other duties as assigned by providers and the Practice Administrator. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Completes nursing assessment of patient and documents appropriately into patient chart. 2. Develops and reviews/revises a plan of care, including a discharge plan, based upon the assessment of patient's needs. 3. Implements medical and nursing orders per plan of care and documents appropriately. 4. Evaluates patient's response to care. 5. Demonstrates leadership/professional skills according to dept/unit Standards of Care. 6. Engages in patient/family teaching as appropriate. 7. Is an advocate for the Clinic and it's customers. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES · Good communication skills with patients, doctor's offices families, supervisors, and co-workers. · Clear & concise communications skills. · Ability to assess, evaluate, explain, teach, problem solve using critical thinking; and perform calculations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS · three years experience in comparable position · RN Licensure in the State of Wyoming; maintains current CPR and ACLS certifications. · Associates degree, diploma or Bachelors in Nursing
