JOB SUMMARY:
Provides assessment, crisis intervention, short term counseling, and referral of employees for multi-hospital healthcare organization. Consults with managers regarding employees with performance problems. Conducts training sessions for supervisors and employees on a variety of topics including Employee Assistance Programs, chemical dependency/alcoholism and stress management. Required to travel to all hospital sites in rural region to deliver services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Masters degree in counseling or mental health field required
· CEAP (Certified Employee Assistance Professional) certification or eligibility preferred
· Licensure in VA in a mental health field required: LPC, LCSW, LCP
· Valid drivers license
· Reliable transportation and travel to affiliate locations required
· Strong interpersonal and communications skills essential
· Skill with public speaking
· Microsoft Office proficiency
