QUALIFICATIONS: 

·         High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

·         Must be 16 years of age.

·         Ability to do mathematical computations and record keeping.

·         On-the-job training.

·         Legible handwriting skills.

·         Must work with all ages of hospitalized patients.

·         Basic knowledge of computers.

·         Competent to successfully interact with patients according to their special needs which may apply based on the age of the patient served (see Job Description Addendum - Age Specific Competencies).

·         Criminal Background Checks include:

Ø       VA State Police

Ø       Third-party background check
