Job Details:
  • With minimal or no supervision perform safety checks of hospital equipment and power sources, and perform routine and in depth service and repair on equipment as assigned. Optimize the safety, effectiveness, efficiency, and economy of diagnostic, therapeutic and supporting equipment used for patient care by routine, periodic inspections, PM, and calibration of the equipment.  Graduate of a 2-year BMET program at a Jr. College level or above.  Completion of an advanced military electronics school may be substituted for the 2 years of education.  At least 8 years experience in the repair, maintenance and calibration of medical equipment.  Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and a good driving record.
