Assists pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care services and participates actively in all phases of drug distribution. Treats all persons for their own personal worth and dignity. Education: High School graduate and must have successfully completed an approved academic pharmacy technician program or completion of the self-study modules/training as approved by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy as a licensed pharmacy technician. Licensure: Licensed as pharmacy technician by North Dakota State Board of Pharmacy. Experience: Completion of orientation/training in Technician I, Technician II areas or previous retail and/or hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Skills: Computer proficiency and the ability to relate well with staff, patients and visitors. Physical Effort: Level - light/medium (moves/lifts boxes weighing 35lbs infrequently and 20lbs or less, frequently).
