BASIC FUNCTION: Maintain high standards of sanitation cleanliness and neatness in assigned areas. Use all equipment safely.
JOB DUTIES: 1. Sets up trays for patient food service following posted or individual menus. 2. Sets up serving line with cold foods, condiments, serving containers, dishes, silver, etc. 3. May work cold or hot stations on central tray service line. 4. Is responsible for cleanliness of work area, and for safe and sanitary handling of food, equipment and supplies. 5. May wash dishes, pots and pans and equipment. 6. May deliver loaded food supplies to patient areas. 7. May prepare between meals nourishment’s, or salads or other foods for tray service. 8. Serve and cashier in Café. 9. Hostess Patients. 10. All other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions. Must have good communications skills.
