Our PACU staff at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center provides quality care to our patients before and after surgery. Our 8 post op and 5 pre op bays serve 4 operating rooms and 2 Endo suites. Education: Associates Degree in Nursing or above required.
License/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start. Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified by American Heart Association both required. Must obtain PALS certified by American Heart Association within 6 months of hire. Must obtain CPAN within 2 years of hire.
Experience: Minimum one-year recent Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience (minimum of 2080 hours within the last three years) required. Experience in an acute care environment. May require working knowledge of/ability to assist with insertion of invasive lines, SV02 Swan Ganz, Arterial lines etc. Previous/current Charge Nurse experience preferred.
No weekends and no call required. Closed on Holidays.
