- Monday through Friday, including call for weekdays/weekends, and have flexibility for schedule changes as needed to conduct Echocardiography/Vascular testing.
- Perform all scheduled ultrasound exams in a timely manner including echo, carotid, abdominal aorta, and peripheral exams.
- As a member of the care team, the Sonographer is responsible for working collaboratively with other members to assure safe and accurate delivery of patient care.
- Maintains patient safety and confidentiality at all times.
Education: Associate of Science degree in cardiovascular ultrasound or certificate of successful completion from an accredited school of cardiac ultrasound.
Licensure/ Certification: Registered Echo Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). If registry eligible, must obtain registry within 6 months of employment and BLS certification within three months of employment. New grads must have initial registry within 12 months of hire.
Experience: Prefer candidates with 2-3 years of experience in ultrasound. Must have working knowledge of cardiac and vascular pathology.
