JOB SUMMARY: The Sonographer is responsible for performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered according to established standards and practices
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· Associates degree in Sonography or Associate's degree or a certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology is required.
· One to two years of additional ultrasound experience/training in OB/GYN preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:
· American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registration in OB/GYN is required within one year.
