SUMMARY: Responsible for the preparation of all main entrees and other designated food items for trayline, employee/guest meal services, special functions, quality bakery items and good time management skills. Professional and appealing meal presentations ie; garnish, temperature, overall appearance of meal. Prepares, cooks and seasons foods needed for residents/patients/families and staff special events. Uses standardized recipes, follows HACCP guidelines, and follows production sheets to create daily and weekly menus.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
· LTC/ Healthcare experience preferred.
