The Director of Housekeeping is responsible for effectively fulfilling the goals and objectives of the department while managing the department’s resources effectively and efficiently.   Specific responsibilities include all aspects of planning, scheduling, and dealing with associate issues.  The Director also must plan for staffing and fiscal budgeting for the department, as well as, being responsible for developing written job descriptions, hiring, training, and evaluating personnel performance.

Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a healthcare environment or related position is preferred.
