Job Details:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered-nursing program
  • Current ACLS or within 6 months of Hire
  • Required State of Nebraska RN Licensure no compact licensure
  • 3-5 yrs experience in chronic and acute hemodialysis
  • Experience as a dialysis unit manager
  • Two or more years of supervisory or management experience
  • For consideration, complete online hospital application form and respond to the BBGH Assessment

    Reporting Relationship: The Hemodialysis Manager is responsible to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and works under the direction of the medical providers. Cooperates and collaborates with CNO, medical Director, and Interdisciplinary Team members to promote optimum quality care, resulting in positive client outcomes in all service provided by the Dialysis Unit.  

    General Summary of responsibilities:  The Hemodialysis Manager is responsible for staffing, organizing, planning and directing daily activities of the incenter/chronic dialysis unit.  This manager is responsible for coordinating treatments for inpatients of Box Butte General Hospital with the staff of the Patient Care Unit. This unit excels in meeting and exceeding CMS standards and outcomes.  The manager must possess the physical capabilities to successfully perform the job as stated.  Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills are required.  Supports a positive environment of excellent patient care and world class customer service.  The Hemodialysis Manager acts as a role model to inspire staff to work toward excellence and reach their highest potential.
