  • JOB PURPOSE:

                The Administrative Assistant will perform all clerical and administrative duties including screening phone calls and resolving/referring as appropriate; scheduling and coordinating meetings and conferences; preparing routine deliverables, such as presentations and forms.  The Administrative Assistant provides office services by implementing the Organization’s operating practices and systems and should have knowledge and proficiency in Phone and Microsoft Office tools as well as strong written/verbal communication skills; organizational skills; attention to detail and the ability to multi-task as needed is required

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

        Demonstrates professional, positive, service-oriented behavior in all interactions, tasks and responsibilities associated with the support of day-to-day activities related to administration.  This includes:

    • Answering and redirecting phone calls
    • Responding to email and voicemail requests in a timely manner
    • Interacting with outside services such as mail delivery, outside vendors
    • Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
    • Assisting with project-level activities as needed
    • Disseminating information and communicating ideas on behalf of front reception
    • Assisting with other administrative-level activities as needed

     

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

     

                    Education:      High School Diploma or GED; College degree and or additional training preferred

                                   

     

    Experience:     4-5 years

     

    Other:            

    ·         Knowledge of computer programs, including word processing and data processing

    ·         Typing skills
