Assists with patient care in an outpatient setting for patients of all ages. Responsible for telephone triage and assessment. Renders patient care within the scope of their training, obtains height, weight and blood pressure on all patients and documents appropriately into patient's chart. Assists physicians with minor surgical procedures. Prepares exam rooms and restocks supplies. Coordinates operational activities of practice as directed by Nurse Manager or designee (RN or RN Team Leader). Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Medical Office experience preferred. Medical Assistant Certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Phlebotomy skills required.
