Direct report to Vice President, Revenue Cycle, for Baptist Health. Responsible for overall management of the Baptist Health system Admissions and Admissions Support functions. Each hospital manager reports directly to this position. Develops and implements best practices across all facilities, ensuring that there is consistency among all. Works to develop a strong Patient Access team across all facilities. Responsible for overall improvement in the Point of Service Collections efforts. Along with leadership team, leads efforts for improved accuracy results. Supervises the development of an accuracy tool for Insurance Verification, Scheduling and Pre-Registration. Ensures that there is significantly improvement in the pre-authorization process within Admissions Scheduling and also any other decentralized department to protect Baptist Health’s financial integrity, along with developing a gatekeeper process in Admissions Support. Prepares an educational schedule for departmental training to help improve overall insurance capture, MSP Compliance, and other target areas. Develop supportive team relationships with other Revenue Cycle departments as well as other departmental partners. Working in conjunction with applicable system leaders, insure continued incremental improvement in financial results, patient and employee satisfaction, and governmental compliance. *Bachelor degree preferred.
*At least 3-5 years of management experience required.
