JOB SUMMARY: The Customer Associate is responsible for creating a WOW experience for each person that enters the facility. Launders towels to ensure that each member has an adequate supply of towels for their workout. Answers the phones, makes and confirms appointments, assembles new member packets, generates membership contracts, conducts Point of Sale transactions, conducts tours as needed, ensures correct deposits at end of shift, and any other duties that are assigned to the Customer Associate.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Experience: 6 months - 1 year experience in customer service; 3 months experience with point of sale register and various office equipment
Other: Must be able to take and understand directions; take pride in work and be able to organize work and perform duties with minimum supervision. Flexibility a must. Able to observe conditions, report conditions, or request repairs to maintain an attractive and functional facility, be self motivated and must be able to make decisions; follow Phifer Safety Guidelines; able to handle problem situations effectively and discreetly.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion including bending, stretching, stooping, climbing, reaching and walking/standing for extensive periods of time. Must be physically able to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires minimum endurance of 8 hours/day. Requires manual and finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination and corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
