JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for greeting all patients/visitors by telephone or in person in a positive and cheerful manner. Schedules patient office visits and performs all sign-in and check-out procedures with a customer oriented focus. Coordinates all clinical phone calls and work schedules with the physician, physician assistant, and MOA staff. Performs other related duties as required.
Education: High School diploma
Experience: Previous experience in customer service environment desirable Previous experience filing insurance claims and collections experience.
Other: Computer skills; ability to interact positively with others; excellent verbal communication skills and problem solving techniques; extreme accuracy and confidentiality required.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Functional Range of motion. Occasional Lifting floor to waist 5 pounds. Two handed carrying 5 pounds occasionally. Occasional pushing up to 10#. Constant sitting, Frequent walking, Occasional standing. Requires frequent manual dexterity. Either hand can be used. Near and far vision required. Frequently required hearing whispered voice.
