The Associate Administrator is accountable to the Director of Community Services for providing direction and leadership for assigned programs. The Associate Administrator confers with the Division Director regarding program development and implementation of philosophy of service. Specific duties include direct responsibility for the supervision of assigned program directors, providing guidance to programs in annual goal setting, overseeing the development of yearly budgets and monitoring the budgets regularly, developing a positive working relationship (in conjunction with Catholic Charities Communication and Development Office) with news media, press, television and radio and cultivating professional relationships with other community services agencies, donors and funding sources. Master's Degree in human services, management, business or related field required. Ten years experience in human services or related field and five years experience in supervision and management. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to direct multiple programs that provide a variety of services. Ability to develop and implement budgets. Ability to motivate others and build an excellent team and to accomplish results through others. Proven ability to communicate with people from all socio-economic groups. Demonstrates creativity and vision in problem solving and program design. Excellent organizational and decision making skills. Ability to provide direction and nurturing to staff and ability to embody and implement the mission of Community Services and Catholic Charities. Ability to develop effective interaction between assigned programs and the community.
