Responsible for the overall operations of the Payroll Department, the successful preparation and distribution of company-wide payroll, and the timely submission and payment of payroll taxes. Specific duties include resolving payroll issues and problems, supervising Payroll staff, resolving system issues, overseeing both bi-weekly and monthly payrolls, managing payroll taxes and reporting requirements, and working with auditors as required.
This role requires well developed skills in payroll and accounting. The successful candidate will have an ability to thrive in an environment of rapid change, work effectively within cross-functional teams, and possess a strong set of communication and analytical skills.
3-5 years of payroll processing/management experience.
Must have excellent attention to detail, and technical ability in financial accounting, payroll administration, and information systems.
