The Home Health Nursing Manager assists with daily operational management of Home Health agency and coordinates nursing services. Responsibilities include development of the staff under a case management philosophy, maintaining quality patient care, promoting productivity and teamwork of staff, and functioning within budgetary guidelines. The Nursing Manager monitors staff activities to ensure and promote compliance in Medicare, Medicaid, TJC, OSHA and Infection Control regulations.
Educational Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Preferred Educational
BSN
Experience Requirements
At least 2 years supervisory experience.
Certification/Licensure Requirements
Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse.
Preferred Certification/Licensure
COS – C Preferred
