Simulation Clinical Faculty 9
Functions as a planner, developer, consultant, evaluator, and resource to both CCON faculty and students in the simulation lab and clinical areas as needed. Guides and directs clinical simulation student activities within the framework of individual nursing courses offered in the curriculum. Coordinates remediation simulation clinical to promote student attainment of course outcomes, learning outcomes, and program goals.
Educational Requirements:
Master's Degree Nursing
Experience Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years healthcare clinical experience
-Minimum of 3 years of healthcare teaching experience
-Knowledge of Simulation Equipment & Scenarios
-General skills including word processing, spreadsheets and standard computer software; interpersonal skills, organizational skills, oral and written communications skills.
-Ability to develop, maintain and update data bases using a variety of software applications.
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure
privilege as a registered nurse.
