Supports the Coordinator of Point of Care Testing (POCT). Maintains the functions of POC office when the POC coordinator is not available.
Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of an accredited school of Medical Technology or Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Two years of clinical experience in laboratory or blood gas analysis.
Must meet the requirements of a Technical Consultant as defined by CLIA 42 CFR § 493.1413.
Medical Technologist, MLS or CLS certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ACSP) or equivalent registry or registry eligible.
RRT certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care or registry eligible and hold a Virginia License to practice Respiratory Care.
