Summit Health & Rehabilitation Center is hiring for full time Licensed Practical Nurses! The Summit Health & Rehabilitation Center offers skilled nursing care and comprehensive rehabilitation services for both short-term and long-term care. The center is open to both residents of The Summit as well as any individuals who are in need of specialty care.

The Licensed Practical Nurse at The Summit performs nursing care by planning, coordinating, providing, and evaluating care for a group of assigned residents to include the following:

·         Medication administration

·         Treatments

·         Assessments

·         Leads, communicates and collaborates with physicians, residents, families and staff to plan resident care.

·         Creates and maintains an environment that protects residents from harm.

Educational Requirements

Graduate of a school of licensed practical nursing

License Requirements

Virginia LPN license

Preferred Experience

Long-term care LPN experience preferred.
