    • Certified Nurse Aide - Gretna PACE

    Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the Certified Nursing Aide performs patient care activities and other task as assigned to assist with primary care in the home and the clinic. He/she also assists therapist and adult day health staff in providing optimal care for the participants

    Educational Requirements

    Successful completion of a state approved Nurse Aide education program; or, if currently enrolled in a nursing degree program, must have completed at least one clinical course.
     
    Experience Requirements
     
    One year of experience working with the frail or elderly. Two or more years of long term care experience is preferred.
     
    This position requires a successful completion "pass" of a job function match test. The test uses standardized methodology to avoid unsafe situations by identifying mismatches between the physical requirements of the job and physical capabilities of the prospective job candidate.
     
    Certification/Licensure Requirements
     
    Must be certified as a Nurse Aide by the Department of Health Professions of Virginia.
    Valid driver's license.
