Job Details:
  • The Health Information Analyst I performs a variety of health information functions as related to processing of patient registrations, delivery of records to various nursing units/departments, reports record deficiencies for completion, performs systematic review for reimbursement purposes, tracks information for quality purposes, charting of loose papers/transcribed reports, retrieval and filing of records and release of information specific to their area of work. The Health Information Analyst I responds to telephone calls, complies with requests and/or routes those calls to the appropriate destination.



    High school graduate or equivalent.



    Computer literacy.
    Skilled in written and verbal communication and in general office procedures and equipment.
    Neat and accurate keyboarding skills specific to their work area.
    Skilled in alpha and numeric filing systems.
