The Clinical Manager serves as a nursing leader and is responsible and accountable for the delivery of care, clinical practice and provision of service for an assigned units(s). Coordinate nursing efforts to ensure that quality, safety and customer service standards are met. Provides operational oversight to their assigned unit(s). Manages the unit's recruitment, and retention of nursing staff through coaching, mentoring, and providing opportunities for professional development. Foster an engaged, team-oriented work environment. Makes decisions within the framework of the organization's philosophies, policies, and procedures.
Four years of experience as a staff nurse with demonstrated leadership skills. Previous charge nurse or coordinator experience strongly preferred.
Education & Training:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required. Master's degree preferred.
Kentucky RN License (OR) RN license in a state recognized by the Kentucky Nurse Licensure Compact Act required effective June 1, 2007.
