Develops, analyzes and prepares a portfolio of business development ideas and initiatives.  Directs the development, implementation and evaluation of new/expanded physician and hospital services to support long term organizational goals. Oversees efforts to identify and secure new project opportunities; oversees the proposal development process and works with operations to implement selected projects. Collaborates with medical directors, administrators and other staff and stakeholders to evaluate and formulate new business initiatives that will grow volume, boost revenue, strengthen physician relationships and enhance clinical programs. Builds and maintains a network of contacts in the industry to identify trends and opportunities.  Facilitates the coordination of other business functions such as market research, planning, operations, marketing, contracts, finance and quality to ensure approved initiatives and programs are launched and sustained effectively, and achieve organizational goals.  Bachelor’s Degree – Business, health care administration or marketing is required.  5+ years in Strategic Planning, health care management, health care marketing is also required.  Experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs will also be required.  MBA/MHA would be preferred along with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
