The Ohio Childrens Hospital Solutions for Patient Safety (OCHSPS) Project Coordinator provides performance improvement support to participants in the OCHSPS Learning Network.  The project coordinator serves as an expert who develops, organizes, improves, and monitors detailed project work plans for patient safety projects to meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals.  The project coordinator identifies opportunities for improvement, barriers to achieve stated outcomes, and constructive suggestions for resolution.  The project coordinator develops status reports to meet the needs of the learning network, executive sponsors, key stakeholders, and project team members.  Participates in short-range planning and provides input into long-range program planning as it relates to the implementation of the patient safety program.  The project coordinator maintains the OCHSPS dashboard, updating frequently to assure the most current data is available to the learning network.  The project coordinator participates as a team member on strategic improvement project teams as requested to improve, sustain, and support the work of patient safety. 5-7 years experience with Medical Terminology required as well as Quality Improvement background experience.  Also required is experience with statistical analysis, information management proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent word-processing skills are all required
