The Chief Medical Safety Officer will serve as the MD lead on Safety initiatives that include but are not limited to the State and National Solutions for Patient Safety Initiative. They will work collaboratively with the nursing Director for High Reliability and Clinical Safety in developing and monitoring all new and established safety initiatives. They will report directly to the CMO/VPMA on all such matters. A physician is required with 1-2 years of experience. Strong communication skills; conflict resolution will also be required. In addition, 3-5 years of experience is preferred along with Quality Improvement Science Rapid Cycle Improvement experience.
