Children’s Mercy Hospital South, in Overland Park, KS, is seeking General Pediatricians to work as Pediatric Associates in their Community Based Pediatric Emergency Department named after Professional Golfer and native Kansan Tom Watson.
The Tom Watson Pediatric Emergency Department is a state-of-the-art 22,000 square foot space within Children’s Mercy South Hospital. It utilizes 28 exam rooms and is supported by diagnostic radiologic procedures and laboratory services. The provider staff includes Pediatric Emergency physicians, General Pediatricians, and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. The duties of this position are primarily clinical with administrative components integrated into the practice.
The department is involved in research activities within the Division of Emergency & Urgent Care. Physicians have the opportunity to serve on hospital and section committees to support Q.I. and other initiatives.
