  • The Associate Director, Foundation Report Writing, reports to the Director of Advancement Services Information Systems and is a primary customer service contact for all database reporting needs. The Associate Director is responsible for identifying and recommending appropriate reporting solutions, designs, builds, and tests reports and business intelligence applications; recommends and documents design options for complex user requirements; and collaborates with end-users and IS analysts to ensure that the content and flow of information is consistent and integrated. **********This position is in our Glendale office! ********** Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred, The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with the design, building and testing of applications and with fundraising information systems, preferably in a health care setting. Experience with SQL and Crystal Reports required. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Visual Studio Visual Basic, HTML and Microsoft Access. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required: Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint. Must possess an understanding of electronic documentation and fundraising systems, programming skills using tools such as SQL and Crystal Reports and familiarity with business intelligence software. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, strong communication and interpersonal skills including facilitation, negotiation and team building; and the ability to assume overall responsibility for projects, exercise good judgment, clarify project requirements and take ownership from beginning to end. Must be able to handle multiple projects and priorities and meet established deadlines.
