  • The Online Communications Coordinator is responsible for assisting Web Content Manager with planning, coordination, facilitation, and monitoring of all web-based activities for the hospital, including: Main website presence:•, Facebook site at: •YouTube presence:• Twitter presence:• Blog presence: • Hospital internal website• Hospital satellite sites such as:,, In conjunction with the Tab Liaisons and Web Team, coordinate and implement Web Advisory Committee-approved projects for the hospital's web presences using the Blackbaud Kintera content management system. Work with hospital staff to maintain online calendars using the Blackbaud Kintera content management system as well as on other social media presences. Work with patient and family members to develop stories that provide compelling indications to an outside audience of how our hospital completes its mission and implement them on the hospital's website and blog. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications or Photojournalism or equivalent, with at least two years of experience writing content for online media. Ideal candidate will be fluent with html, comfortable with Adobe Photoshop, and Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Blackbaud Kintera. Candidate will have photography and video experience, as well as a documented understanding of various social media channels for healthcare. Documented project management experience a bonus. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in journalism communications or related discipline or equivalent experience. Minimum Experience Required: At least 2 years of dedicated experience developing Web content for a large organization, preferably Healthcare related. Web content posting/ FTP skills are required. Project Management experience preferred. Fluency with HTML and Adobe Photoshop skills preferred. Content Management Experience, ideally with Kintera/Blackbaud.• Photography and digital video skills required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Exhibits critical thinking and problem solving abilities as well as the ability to work creatively in a collaborative and rapidly changing team environment. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are mandatory. Strong analytical skills necessary to understand the story that the person being interviewed is communicating• Strong sense of customer service focus is essential.
