Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Child Life Manager, the Coordinator of the Family Resource and Information Center (FRIC) is responsible for the development, management and coordination of the program and center, which serves the informational needs of parents or other family members through the utilization of technology and other media based resources.

Position Requirements:
Education
: Bachelors degree in health care, education or related field or  combination of relevant experience and education.
Experience: 3-5 yrs in a hospital setting with a pediatric population
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to function independently using ingenuity and creativity. Basic computer and typing skills, and the ability to learn and understand office software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact with all levels of medical staff and public. Ability to maintain composure, objectivity and neutrality and de-escalate situations when faced with stressed parents and staff.

Physical Requirements:
Sit up to 8 hours/day
Stand/Walk: 3-6 hours
Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours
Reach: Up to 3 hours
Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 8 hours
Lift/Push/Pull: 15 lbs
