Registered Nurse (RN) License
1 Year of Experience Required
The staff RN is a professional caregiver who follows the framework of primary nursing and assumes responsibility and accountability for the care and teaching of groups of patients/families for a designated time frame. The staff RN directs and provides care to these patients utilizing therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other team members.
License/Certification: Current California RN license. Current CPR card required. PALS & TNCC highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in the Emergency Department, or an equivalent unit, within the last three (3) years. Previous critical care, emergency pediatrics experience a plus. Previous critical care, emergency pediatrics experience a plus.
Sit: Up to 3 hours/day
Stand/Walk: 6-8 hours
Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours
Reach: Up to 6 hours
Rep use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hours
Lift/Push/Pull: 25 lbs. or over 25# with assistance lbs. with assistance or equipment
Ability to comply with infection control and other safety policies.
