Job Summary:
The Pulmonary Function Technologist II assists and performs diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings on neonates, pediatric, adolescent and adult patients. The Pulmonary Function Tech II also provides treatment under the supervision of a pulmonary physician.

Position Requirements:
Education: Graduate from an AMA accredited school of Respiratory Care Required
Certificate/License: Current CA RCP license. Current CRTT or RRT and CPFT credentials or eligible. BLS and PALS
Experience: 2 – 3 years of respiratory therapy and/or pulmonary function. Preferred Experience: 3 – 5 years
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Effective communication skills Demonstrate critical thinking skills routinely Ability to work independently Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain emotional stability Ability to use computer systems Strong organizational and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:
Sit: Up to 3 hours/day
Stand/Walk: 6-8 hours
Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours
Reach: Up to 6 hours
Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 6 hrs
Lift/Push/Pull: 25lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment
